May Martin is a reknowned sewing instructor for the Women's Institute. She co-judges The Great British Sewing Bee with Patrick Grant where she specialises in women's garments and other techniques which aren't found commonly on Saville Row.

May Martin is a needlework instructor at Denman College[1] and the Ardington School of Crafts[2], in addition to others.
She has been sewing for over 40 years and began teaching in secondary schools after training at St Osyth's College.[3]
